Kyle Schwarz, Channel Director
Kyle is originally from Sharon Center, Ohio, she graduated from Highland High School and Ohio University majoring in Broadcast Journalism. After meeting in college she married her husband Doug Schwarz and moved to Alliance. Together they have 4 grown children, three grandsons and two granddaughters. Previously Kyle worked at WDPN/Q92 as News Director, Continuity Director, Promotions Director and morning show co-host before joining the AHS staff as the Media Arts teacher from 2003 to 2018. Kyle’s hobbies include cooking, tennis, boating and spending time with family and friends.

Chelsea Shar, AHS Video Production Instructor
Chelsea came to Channel 1022 from the newspaper business. She graduated from Malone University with a degree in Communications/Journalism in 2013, the same year she was married to her husband Jacob. They moved to Ashland after graduation where Chelsea wrote for the Ashland Times-Gazette as a government beat reporter. A year later Chelsea transferred to the Alliance Review to write about education, non-profits and general news and the couple moved to Alliance. That's also where she began her video work as a supplement to stories. In June, 2017 she had her son, Isaac and after a maternity break started with with Channel 1022 and the Alliance City School District. Chelsea is eager to use her passion for telling stories at Channel 1022, and teach the students and help them grow in the world of broadcast and journalism. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, biking and spending time with her family.

Merisa Howell, Assistant Director
Merisa is a 2019 graduate of Alliance High School where she completed the two-year Broadcast Arts program. Merisa is recipient of the Alliance Works Scholarship and a graduate of Stark State University, where she studied video production. Her responsibilities include filming in the studio and on location, editing packages, overseeing students during studio productions, social media posts, creating community information pages and equipment room management. In her spare time, Mersia enjoys reading, writing, and watching YouTube videos.

Logan McGee, ACS District Audiovisual Technician
Logan is a 2016 graduate of East Canton High School and a 2020 graduate of the University of Mount Union. He holds a BA in Integrated Media and has years of professional experience within the education and audiovisual industries. Logan's former industry jobs include Program Director of Raider Student Media at the University of Mount Union (Comprised of WRMU 91.1 FM, The Dynamo, and Studio M), Technical Director for En-RICH-Ment Free Fine Arts Academy for Underserved Urban Youth in Canton, and Producer/Technician at WHBC 1480 AM/94.1 FM in Canton. He has also worked as a Sporcle Pub Trivia Host, a professional MC/DJ and PA announcer, and as an independent freelance audiovisual consultant for over a dozen local churches. In his spare time, Logan enjoys freelance audiovisual production and consultation and currently serves as Sound Committee Chair for The Carnation City Players as well as a Vice President of the Carnation Festival Board.
